Jeff I have no way to take a picture. But I did trace it and sent it to Robbie. Tried it out this past weekend and it worked out fine. So this should be the fix for the problem. It could be made of either fiberglass or graphite. It sits on top of the chassis so there is no problem with ground clearance.

BullFrog, Will it still work with the low roll center in the front? I have looked at making a few bumpers but it seems to get in the way of the nose bar. I am looking forward to getting a look at what you have done!

Jeff I've got the standard front end but the way I made it it should work.I'll be at Robbies local race on June 7th a personnely show him . Ask Robbie to send you a fax of how I made it or I can if you've got a fax number. It allows the front end to move and does not bind anywhere.

imo

It's time to change the corally front end design,

the countersunk holes holding the front end is too far in front ,

small impact may cause the to chip and gradually chipping off the cs holes & the whole front end cannot be used need to change new chassis.

or design a chassis longer in the front to prevent chipping.

soory my english is not good.

Showed both Rob and Michael the front bumper I made. They even got to see it in action- should have busted a front a-arm but didn't.So now Rob's got the drawing and how it goes on the car.Wish I had a digital camera but I don't. I'll have it with me at the nationals in afew weeks.

At our local 1:12 scale club we also have this problem with the easy braking front suspension. The smallest hit can brake it???

What we noticed is difference in the width of the carbon fibre at the steeringblock end (around the hole). On the spare arms (you get in the hobby shop) the width is less than on the arms on the car when you buy it? Why is this? (difference is 1mm or so)
I hope you understand what I mean. If not let me know so I can send you a drawing of it.

Do you know if there is a way you check this?
And can you also make it bigger again or change the arms?

Please do something about this!
Last 4 weeks (which is 12 battery packs) I broke 8 arms on very very small impacts.....

Peter- read my posts. There is a fix by making a bumper.I made mine out of Kydex. Rob and Michael(Corally USA) are going to try to make it out of graphite or you can make it out of fiberglass . It's not hard to make.

I've read your post but in my opinion Corally should fix the problem with the arms in stead of me making a workaround/fix.

I'm also wondering why the arms have been changed?

Why can't/shouldn't they make a stronger arm that can take a bigger impact?
