The Shapeshifter transmission is the heart of the new T/C. You are able to chose from 3-4 diffrent drive trains.
Shape 1. Direct gear drive to the rear tires with a single belt to the front. Rear Motor Mount. (included in kit)
Shape 2. Gear reduction drive with two belts and rear motor mount. (Included in kit)
Shape 3. Same as above but with a mid motor mount. (optional bottom deck)
With these three and possibly a fourth combo you are able to adapt to any track or power need.
Here are some pics.......
The direct drive is awesome for stock and mild mod as it offers mad rip with the direct drive rear.
The gear reduction (two belt) will enable you to run those insane Mod motors.

Will the car come with Alen head screws or will it be phillips head screws?

Even Better!!!! I don't know if you have ever used the Torx screws that we have used for a long time but they don't strip out as easy as the Hex or phillips screws do. I know it is a diffrent tool but a nice one with a handle comes in the box. If you notice in alot on new products with metal and machine work these fasteners are becoming very common. There is more surface area to spread the torque accross as you tighten them up or break them loose. Just more Corally quality for you!!
Distribution details are being worked out as we speak. We will have a better idea after some of the shows this week and next. This car has generated alot of intrest. The first few shipments of kits will go fast then it should get a little better over time.
Price....... Not yet! They are doing the math!

Let us know about the distribution of the kits....this car looks very good and I would be looking to try one out. What kind of options will the car have....like can you get a 1 way diff? and or will a solid spool be aval?

Hi guys. greetings from Malta,
Torx screws as used by Corally are great. In fact I have ended up using them on most other cars I build.
Jeff, I'm not too sure moving the Corally threads out of the general electric forum is such a good idea.
Most people just log into the general forum and never bother with anything else, so no further mention of Corally there is bound to have an ill effect, don't you think?
Surely we want everybody to read and join into the Corally discussions!
Just my opinion.
Regards
Joe from sunny Malta.

Thanks for setting up the form Jantel, well done.
So how keen are we for the Assassin, must be getting closer now!
I'm down to just racing my Corally SP12M and my soon to be delivered F201, i'm not racing any touring cars until the Assassin turns up.

awaiting my turn to assasinate the competition

This new kit will make some noise on the racing scene! Look out the Assassins weapons are being sighted in.
We set up this forum for you guys. I hope everybody enjoys it. The other one has had alot of action but we felt that alot of the valuable info was too hard to find on one thread. This way we can keep things in a much better order since we can move stuff around and help everyone assassinate the competition!!!

I saw this car this weekend. I must say I'm impressed. Im just worried about parts support. Is it pretty solid and tuff?
