Default Help for RDX motor guard

I've just purchased and RDX UK Spec
I also got the motor guard and cooling fan but there are no holes for it, do I put the screws through the air channels or do I drill through the small area between the edge and the air channel (just a little worried that if i put it here a whack might crack the chassis)
Cheers for any help

You have an older chassis. The latest ones have been updated with the holes drilled. You will have to countersink the slot in order to use it. However it is pretty weak and might just rip through.
