Unhappy Screws and nuts coming loose

How do you keep all the screws and nuts from coming loose. It seems that every few laps I have to tighten them up or they all fall out.

WRONG!

Using threadlock will cause you more problems later... Like "locked SCREWS" -or- stripped out heads on your screws.

I hope you haven't used the loctite yet.

Take it from someone who knows.

Actually - believe it -or- not.... I put a drop of bushing lube/oil on the threads and then tighten firmly -but- not too firm.

This allows me to remove the screws later - without stripping out the head of the screws.

I would prefer to check my screws for tightness - rather than Lock one up then ruin my chassis trying to get it out.

Hope this helps

Todd,

Stop using the RED loctite LOL. That will fuse the metal to metal. If you are using blue and having that problem then you are using too much or don't rebuild your car enough. haha. jk man.

Loctite is the best solution. You just need a drop and can actually wipe off the excess so there is very little on there. It does not take much. Be sure to snug the screws and such nicely.

The cars vibrate a lot from running and impacts, so be sure to check them regularly.
