everybody should come run on a real oval , dirt high banked and we run more than just mini sprints ( and we allow a rear stagger setup) , latemodels , sprints , off road vehicles etc... I'm sure the carpet track is fun , but there's nothing like runnin on a real dirt track.

Unfortunately, the track is not even close to big enough for 1/10th Sprint Cars, it was designed and assembled specifically for the Losi Mini-Sprint, which is 1/18th scale. The most cars on the track for racing is 8; but I remember counting 13 cars on the track for practice once a few weeks back, and it was entirely too many. It was fun to watch the carnage but I'm glad i was not out there...

Default Late Models to run on Sundays at R/C Sprint Car Speedway

Terry Plummer would like to announce that beginning Sunday, January 30, 2011 he will be starting a Losi Late Model Class. Doors will open at 11AM, qualifying will start at 1PM.

Only the Losi Late Model will be allowed and there will be two classes just like the sprint cars. Same rules - stock class with stock battery, open class with the Dynamite LiPo battery. Only the stock Losi motors will be allowed, either the Late Model motor or the Sprint car Motor. (Sprint car motor is faster and better).

Entry fee will be the same ($25) and practice for the late models will be combined with the sprint cars on Wednesday Night Practice, with alternating sessions for $10.

It's continued success will depend on participation. If the class can maintain 12-15 racers and grow it will continue on Sundays, until the lease expires at the end of April. If the class gets minimal participation (8-10 or less) then it will cease due to lack of support. It will be up to the racers.

when talking about a track, like the high bank dirt, need to put name or address. I drive a truck and carry all of my r/c cars with me. Would love to find a place in Denver to race. I am there often, like tomorrow afternoon I should arrive. That way, travelers can look and if they have time, come and race with you. One question, is R/C Sprint racing tomorrow, Saturday the 22 and if so, can I get my tractor and trailer in there. I would like to race my new 1/18th slider someplace soon.

Yep, every Saturday, 10750 N Irma Drive, unit #14, Northglenn. About halfway between 104th and 112th, on the east side of Irma. Doors open at 3pm, qualifying starts at 5ish. We're getting upwards of 80 entries every week for the 4 Mini-Sprint based classes.
