Glad you could make it, hope ya' had a little fun And was able to see our track/operations.
Practice-Yeah another issue we have is the operating hours 10-6. So practice on raceday is limited? Otherwise during the racin' season it's always open between 10-6 (People camp out right across the road).
Results-they had been posting them on HobbyTown's website, last time I checked it had'nt been updatedlet me research

See ya' at the track http://www.hobbiescolorado.com/?page_id=250

Well the season finale is in the books. And we were able to hit our goal of 50 entries and went beyond all the way to 57, total of 7 heats. Thanks guy's/gal's for making the 2010 season successful.

Look forward to getting it started in mid to late spring 2011

See ya at the track

Had a meeting w/ the owner of HobbyTown Longmont and it was very positive I expect there will be a full redo to the existing layout, aswell we intend to add a practice/race track (depending in interest). The existing layout will be more SC/elec friendly. Should be a good summer for R/C racing

See you at the track

+1 to VeloTek - I went out and practiced a few times with my nitro last year but work came in and I never got to race.

This year I have a brand new Short Course truck and I'm ready to get schooled - I could come by on a Friday or Saturday and help with the track.

Is there someplace we can find a listing of the classes you run and the descriptions/limitations for each?

I do not have a hard address for the track? It's on road 26 just east of county rd 1 in Longmont. It's directly south of Union Reservoir on rd26. When I was looking for it I Googled Union Res. Hope this is helpful?

generally 3 heats and a main (depending on turnout)
1/10th 6 min heats 6 min main
1/8th electric 7 min heats 15 min main
1/8th Nitro 7 min heats and a 20 min "A" main

See you at the track
