On a hard packed outdoor track would any of you simple green your tires, or is that an indoor thing?

I think if you start trying to soften up the tires your just gona kill em faster. I have always had good luck on the Longmont track with soft or medium compound tires, and anywhere from small pins to big pins. Right now the track is still kind of new so big pins might work better till it grooves in better.

On a track like hobbytown, tire wear is already so great, also there is quite a bit of dust and loose dirt in some sections, I like a medium compund tire. I'll either use yellow jconcepts or M2 Pro-Lines. Simple green won't have a huge effect on those compounds. Just my opinion and experience with the hobbytown track.

Found a charger and battery at the track. Let me know what you left, so I can get it back to you. If I don't get a reply today, I will take it to Hobbytown tomorrow.

Thanks!

There was a guy at the track yesterday who said he left a battery and charger. Didn't catch his name but he's from Lyons and drives a maroon pickup.

I did drop the battery and charger at Hobbytown, so hopefully he will check there and get his stuff back.

Just an FYI for series race #1 at Longmont the track will be open for practice this Saturday 6/9/12. It will be a track prep practice day (watered) and a pit set-up day. I'll be there from 9-4 so if you plan on racing come out and get your practice on

See you at the track

Default Track open?

Was the track flooded this morning after last night's heavy rain? Couldn't make the race today.
