Default Classic flyer

Here's the flyer for the 13th annual 2009 HobbyTown Classic. Just fill it out and drop it off at any one of the three stores. It's pretty much the same format as last year with the track open for practice on Friday afternoon and all the qualifiers on Saturday. Not handing trophies out in the dark last year was nice for a change!
As far as the surface goes we've found a good layout that avoids most of the bumps especially the ones on the back straight from last year. If anyone wants to help prep the surface (drag, paint, etc) before the big race let us know.
We did add a novice class so drag your wife or kids out and let them run that slash in your closet.

I had the chance to run the "New" layout today and it is definitely the smoothest it's ever been. Now I run a Nitro TC and the couple of bumps are easily absorbed. The Classic will be a great. Good racin', Good people, Good time's......

Hey Russ, do you think the power that "be" at HTW would consider allowing the club to throw down some VHT at the classic?

I think we could gather enough donations to cover the cost if HTW would allow us to help out in this manner..... it would be way super dialed.

Also, count me in to help with the track; par for the course these days.

Does anyone know if there will be an Outlaw Corr/slach class? All us novice drivers have talked about maybe gracing you guy's with our wonderful skills of bashing at a high rate of speed.

let me know if you want me to prep the track each day with vht. I will charge you only for what i use. we will have to do the whole track friday, and depending on the weather, and how it hold up, maybe just the corners sat and sunday. the cost is $10 per gallon. we use 2 1/2 gallons to do our track. i would think that yours would take close to 4 per application, but i do not know how it will hold up over a 3 day race. no way more than 15 gallons for the whole weekend.

Default Min Weight 13.5 TC Rubber

Your Flyer shows 1525 gr as the min weight for 13.5 TC are you going to stick with that for this years classic?

Weight for electric touring will be 1500g also added a 17.5 class for anyone interested in running stock. Triple a's for 17.5 and 13.5 not sure about super touring and 235 I think for them also.
