You can see some of the racing here. The video will probably get longer once YouTube fully processes it.

DRIVER STAND MODIFICATIONS WILL HAPPEN THIS SAT
For those that want to come out and help show up around 12:30ish.

This means the track will be closed for practice from probably 1pm to late afternoon.

Looks like this snow storm coming in Sunday through Tuesday may put a delay in our carpet install. Please keep a lookout on the thread for status.

"More or less"

Hmmmm.....

Are these standards, and exceptions, written down somewhere? Is it lore, passed down from racer to racer?

Enquiring minds want to know

By what I understand this is what all big races are doing.
See page #1399 and 1400 for the rules for MHIC 2016

And I get what you're saying, but that's the "lore and legend passed down from racer to racer".

This came up as a question from a neighboring club, what/where are the F-1 standards. For touring car and 1/12 classes we can point to the ROAR rules. For VTA and USGT we can point to the Vintage Trans Am site and the comprehensive rules for both classes are there.

For Formula 1, though, I had THOUGHT we were all running the UF1 rules package until the ring leader of that neighboring club started talking about how he was running a 3mm ride height. Oops. Referring to UF1, sure enough, 3mm ride height (which dates back to running foam tires on these, not the rubber we're doing now) and I don't believe it identified a weight standard.

Ah well, not trying to stir the pot...just hoping there was a definitive set of rules that was written down somewhere, preferably a national standard that we could all comply with.

I will be at the track tomorrow and I will bring it up to the board members and see if we can get the F1 rules put out there for all to see. Thanks for asking and you are not sturring the pot by no means, it should be out there by the end of the week.
Thanks

So I met Troy on Friday we talked a little bit. I never asked, based on what I watched the popular classes are USGT, 17.5t sedan, and 1/12 17.5t?

I would also add F1 and GT-R to this list of popular classes. USGT has really taken off, 11 entries today.
