Here's the pictures my wife texted me of the instructions. The numbers of the names of the pictures is the order that they appear in the instructions.
As you can see, it says Final Drive Ratio (FDR) on the touring car and they continue to use FDR throughout the rest of the instructions.
The numbers listed seem about right for touring car. But if you use the same formula, for 1/12 scale, it seems really wrong on the gears. However, if you change FDR to mean Final Drive Rollout and use the numbers as inches, then you get about the right gears.

I would think somebody like tekin wouldn't get this confused, though. I can't figure what I have missed.

I'm going to put what I think is right and then adjust on the track.

Anybody looking for a pretty titanium Orca VXX, I put mine up for sale. I'll knock off a few bucks for a local.

ah, thanks. They must've meant rollout. They say it for 13.5, but not for 17.5

I am planning on being there, providing I get out of work on time and weather doesn't make the traffic nuts.

Hey Russ,

I am using PS-0571 on the front and PS-0572 on the rear.....this seems to be the go-to combo in a lot of places.

I don't fully understand the "R" ratings but tqrcracing.com has a section dedicated to F1 rubber that lets you see a lot of choices side-by-side. The description of the tires I use from their website are:

Shimizu Racing (PS-0571)
F104 Front F1-Soft (1 pair) with inserts

Shimizu Racing (PS-0572)
F104 Rear R1-Hard (1 pair) with inserts

Hope this helps!

Nick

Joel,

The track will definitely be open on Saturday and most likely on Sunday Let us know what time you will be here both days and what time you'd like to start in the morning we'll make our best effort to have the track open during those times. FYI, we are racing on Thursday night if you come out early.

Always good to have an out of state driver in town to take advantage our class A facility. Anyone else coming with you?

Just two of us as of right now. Looking for practice for IIC and you are closest facility to us to test on carpet. We hear lots of good things about the facility also so we want to come check it out more than anything.

Please let us know when you want to be open on Saturday and I will make our schedule accommodate that time. Sooner the better so we can maximize our testing time, but any time you can is good with us.
