Wow !!!! Great racing , Savatgy is the ultimate teammate ! But he looked great on a 450. Looking forward to a great new season . Tomac may be his own worse enemy but is a machine !

I kinda expected him to let Tomac by but I didn't expect him to be so obvious. O well, still good racing. Savatgy sure looked looked good on the 450.

Tomac looked good. I feel like unless something weird happens (which is always possible, with him), he should run away with the SX title. I feel like he is so overdue to just crush the field. This is going to be the year, I think.

Other tidbits, Reed was decent. Savatgy was very impressive. RV was off the pace more than I thought he would be.

1 nice thing is with AP, Savatgy and Osborne up on the big bikes, if they can mix it up towards the front, then that will make for some good racing (even if it just for 2nd place lol).

Someone said that RV was on a close to stock bike. A stock machine with a few things changed here and there, mostly suspension(as stock suspension is very lacking for pro-level SX). Not sure if true or not.

PC build. Mostly bolt-on stuff. I certainly wouldn't say 'close to stock' but not a fully-built engine by any means. Was still cool just seeing him out there. I wanted him to be top 5, that would've been awesome.

Hard to do when you're retired from the AMA pro level. You fall off top 5 race pace pretty quickly. 3 years or so is more than long enough to lose that edge.

For sure. Especially when he himself was saying he was on the 'Dad-bod, Coors Light training program' lol. And plus that track is always so ridiculously fast. Those dudes are going like 70mph in some of those spots. So I'm sure thats a tough adjustment for anyone that hasn't been on a bike much. Most tracks aren't seeing those type of speeds.

Just finished watching the recording. Great seeing the supermini's!!!! The kid on 199 has a future as long as he can stay on the bike. Maybe he was Tomac's little cousin or something. Even wrecked while leading like Tomac. 22 was on fire for sure and RV knew he was in for a workout, that interview after Moto 1 was telling. Don't forget the guy that won $1 mil with Tomac, those 2 Monster Energy Girls were like hheeeyyyy buddy, we're free after the race you smiling hunk of greasy hair party animal.

Red Bull Straight Rhythm was bad ass. I vote for FIM / AMA to add a 125 and 250 smoker class to the SX schedule!!!! How cool would it be to have 4 classes run on race night instead of 2 and reduce some of the fill in B.S.. I mean come on, how many time can we watch the video of Pastrami, Bubba and Charmichelle a.k.a. "The BLOAT" sitting on a couch as kids?? Would the guys be able to handle a 125/250 or 250/450 night every week? I'm not sure but we can dream damn it. Oh well, I guess things will be rather quiet until January now.

That was cool. I feel like everyone enjoyed the 2strokes. It's just a shame that every brand isn't still making/developing them. Watching that made me want to sell my bike and get a 2stroke lol.

If AMA would bring back those classes every manufacturer would have them back on the showroom floors!

Ya, I sure wish they would.....or not have handicapped them so bad from the start. MXA has been saying it since the old rule went in place for Yamaha and they were right all these years.

Me too. I consider it all the time actually. RBSR made me want one even more and the fact that I ride in the woods a lot and am very rarely on an "actual" MX Track. That and the fact that I'm cheap and 2 strokes are cheaper to maintain with the whole no valve train thing they got going on.

I can not wait to see what Webb can do on that KTM. I'm a diehard Yamaha fan, gonna miss seeing him on a blue bike.
