Amain/Hobbytown

my big question is taxes?
currently you do a amain order if you are not in CA, there are no taxes.
if i go online and order from Amain, after this partnership with HT, and do a order from CA will i be taxed because there is a HT in my state?

It has zero impact on a hobbyshop level, it just means Amain will run a webstore for Hobbytown.
Hopbbytown will also get access to Amain products (protek etc) for possible lower costs and better distribution.

The tax laws are pretty unclear so I could be wrong.

Not to get off topic too much, but I don't think that is exactly true about the taxes. I think you are supposed to self report any purchases out of state and pay sales tax on your end of year tax forms. There is a box (at least on our tax forms in NC) that asks what you purchased and pay sales tax at that time. It is easy to not report because there are no tracking systems. It is easier to collect taxes when there is a store in your state.
