Default Such a thing as r/c shows, like real time cruises?

Hello all.

Curious. I used to attend local car shows/cruises with my old hot rod.

My 1:10 Summit is all pretty much as it was after unboxing. I'm interested in checking out other's ideas, personalizing to help me decide which route I want to go with my mods.

I want to do some things to help distinguish it from other Summits...like others I imagine?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Some full size car shows do include static models as well as r/c cars. You might check out Good Guy's car shows. It might be a little late in the year but I think there is one in late Oct.I personally don't know what a Summit looks like,on-road,off,what?Perhaps starting something by entering a pic of your own?Hope you don't take this the wrong way.I really would like to see.

Ah heck, no way I'd take it wrong.

Now that you mention it, I do remember going to a few of the bigger shows and remember them having a separate little gig going on. Lots of times they're the plastic models.

I imagine I'll start heading to the local tracks ( Portland/Vancouver, Wa. ) for some more ideas to help determine which route I take.

Thank you very much.

Summits are a Traxxas rig. 2 scales, 1:16 and 1:10. Monster truck rock crawler. Remote lockers ( this feature pretty much sold me ).

I the only RC show is the RCX Expo in California. As far as I know it's held every June. It used to travel, came to Chicago area 5years ago. It hooked me into hobby.

That'd be awesome. We're just a state up across Oregon/Washington border.

Is there perhaps a Facebook page or just something to show off how we've modded any particular model?

edit: I just made up a Facebook page for folks to post pix.
