Default Fyrstormer's Garage

After seeing someone else do it, I got the idea to assemble the list of RCs I've owned and the information about them into a single thread. Here's my garage, listed (approximately) in order of purchase.

For the sake of keeping this thread reasonably tidy, if you have any questions about specific vehicles in my garage, please post in the vehicle's build thread. That will make it easier for anyone else looking for that information to find it in the future. Thanks!

It doesn't look that nice anymore...but I agree, I love the way the M3 E30 looks. That's why I chose it as my first DIY body shell.

Now I want to buy one of those so I can have my one miniature m3. A racing spec .12 would work nicely.

The T3.0 engine is effectively a big-block engine compared to the size of the RS4; I converted it to single-speed and it still accelerates very well. It's not race-legal, of course, but if all you're going to do is bash it in parking lots and side streets, you should try the stock engine before replacing it. It's a very drama-free engine; once you get it tuned it runs fine in pretty much all conditions, and it starts easily even with the stock pullstarter.

Of course, if you're building a track car, there are plenty of better platforms to choose from, and the M3 body will look just as good on any of them.

Thanks! I'm glad I stopped counting how much money I've spent on the hobby a long time ago, or I'd probably have a panic attack.
