Back from the dead! Unfortunately none of us can say the same about FSR! Too bad though, I would have thought that they would atleast still manufacturer their fuel, but they appear to have vanished! Still like the Bullet though!

ahhh yes. back indeed. i'm hoping to get those that have experience with this car to periodically check in and give their two cents. well at least we have a thread now. i'm sure many have bailed on this drag ridden tourer, but i am on a quest to prove otherwise. so any advice will be appreciated.

A great car. I almost forgot I still had mine. It's unfortunate they just forgot about th car. There was a rumor going around about a year ago that they were designing a new car. It doesn't look good.

Default Bullet

We had our two Bullets out at practice. They are looking good. If only we could slow those TC3's down...
Guess we'll just do it the hard was and speed up the Bullets.

Anybody on here try any kind of Hybrid conversion on their Bullet, like using parts from other makes? Just curious to see if any aftermarket parts for different makes will work and how well they work!

that's what i intend to do with the bullet. i want to make a chassis that will run the batteries down the center since the belt is not in the way. it's a long way off though.

Yeah, that very same thought crossed my mind as well, but there are alot of things on the stock chassis that would prohibit that! The vertical mounts that the top chassis deck plates mount to are in the way for one. You would have to design a whole new chassis for the cells and a new way to attach the top deck plates or the easy way would be a whole new design all together! Maybe some kind of Vertical chassis plates like the Kawada car uses. Your steering setup would need a drastic rethinking and execution. Ah, you can always dream----A Frankenstein car, LOL.

Actually, I have noticed that the FSR has the saddle batteries mounted as close to each other as possible to keep the cars weight as close to the center as possible. This is a good thing of course, but I have noticed that other makes that have used the saddle pack design have always had their batteries farther apart and then as things progress they design a new chassis and bring them closer together, where as the FSR had them as close as possible to start with! Some of the ideas put into this car were very good and executed intelligently, too bad they never got a second chance at improving it!

Default Frame

We run custom frames on ours...
The stock setup is still great
We copied the same concept on an HPI Pro2, that is coming along very well.
