They were pretty popular in parts of Australia...

I used to run a nitro FSR and its still the best handling nitro car I've ever tried running

My FSR Bullet is in its box, not collecting dust.

Very good handling car in its day.

Man I really liked my FSR Bullet when I had it. I think it still could be an excellent touring car. Put in some new aluminum diffs and free up the driveline just a little and the car could be nice. Everything is already centered on the car to balancing it would be pretty easy.

Someone could take over the design and make a few updates and have a great car to sell.

The only thing that was really wrong with the bullet was the press on hex adapters on the axles. It worked, but I would have liked to have seen the pin thru the axle, then the hexs like on today's cars. Other than that the car was pretty dialed, easy on tires too because of the balanced design.

That's nice to know, what I really need to know though is what about the axle part, will that work too?

Yes, the complete cvd, axle, and hex drive. The bearings in the hubs are standard, not metric. I just looked, and I have the plastic cvds in the rear. The fronts are still FSR.

Its very similar to the Magic E4 in drive train layout except it is designed for saddles. It also uses pillow ball suspension from their gas car which is generally a pain to get everything square. It went well for me but if you like balanced designs you can't go past the JRX-S type R.

It's good to see that some FSR's still live. I have a Nitro bullet and a bunch of electric bullets still.
