yeah, i'm actually going to begin drawing it up on pro/e a solid modeling software. i will most likely make the front and rear bulkheads and a whole new chassis out of a graphite blank. one day i'll post it, if i ever get started. really the only fsr part or concept is the 3 belt design. may use schumacher diffs, cause i have so many. dunno yet. keep posting though. see ya.

seaball;

I'll send you some pics and I'll try to post some.

The cars have a front shock tower, upright servo mount, rear shock tower, dual bearing cup narrow graphite chassis...
Well the pics will tell the story.

Default Project Bullet

Seaball, How's your Bullet project coming along? We haven't race ours in a while. They will be back in the lineup in December when we run two classes again.

Cheers!

project bullet...proof is on hold for the moment. i may draw it in cad and post that as a jpg, because i need to find a way to machine new bulkheads. now i am waiting for a kxone, which i feel is an engineering masterpiece. got a good deal on one used, that i couldn't pass up. i'm still debating whether or not to use the fsr chassis for the project, or go from scratch. well, i'll keep ya posted on the progress. later.

Default FSR Bullet

Hi Seaball,

I'm glad to report that we have been doing great with our Bullets.
We have one win and a third place in sedan mod with consistant a main finishes in stock!

But every story has an ending and we are runing up a Mission to replace them in the next race.

The Bullets will still see action on occasion throughout the year.

Yes there is a project Mission in the works for the Fall season.

Did FSR go out of business for sure? The car always worked greatfor me on asphalt with foams on. It had some drag but I had shimmed it some and used some emory cloth on the drive shafts and that really helped alot. I still like the layout as everything is centered on the car. Not a fan of saddle packs but still a good car with a little work.

Default FSR

I think they abandonned the production for all kinds of reason.

It's a shame I liked this car as well and I'm convinced that using the same belt technology that Losi and Schumacher are presently using the 3 belt system would be competitive.

In the beginning we use to break the front hubs and 'a' arms but that has stopped with better bumpers and wings... and driving!

To bad as the car does have potential. FSR never did try to improve it too much or did they really promote it very well. I know CRC never really pushed it that hard.
