Anybody been watching the races? Rossi is looking pretty good this year. I think he wants another championship. Argintina gp he ran down and passed Marc Marquez for the lead from something like 8th place. I wouldn't have thought anybody could do that.

Rossi is definitely looking alot more hungry then he has the last couple of years. Good to see Ducati a bit stronger this year aswell.

Marquez might have taken himself out of the point race when he crashed out trying to repass Rossi.

Maybe... Rossi decided to swing the tail just a bit The master threw a right hook and BAM! Game over. MM pretty much deserved whatever happened after trying to ram straight into VR. The dude should have known he went with the wrong tires... would have been better off trying to salvage points instead of trying to bully a win.

I wouldn't say he tried to hit Rossi as much as tried to dive under and didn't clear Rossi's rear tire. Glad he didn't take Rossi out with him. That would have really sucked.
30 points down. That's hard to make up in that crowd. I'd like to see that as much as I'd like to see Rossi get another title. Just the third race so he has some time. I guess we'll see.

MM has a history of making kamikazee moves that usually takes opponents out. This time Rossi played it perfectly and came out on top. 10 times? Might be the case... short of Dovi pulling a spoiler, of course.

What a finish!

It was a great race. Lorenzo starts good but falls back and the Suzuki is improving nicely.

I like what Aleix is doing with the new bike. The "open" tire selection is killing them later in the race, and they still need to find some HP. But all-in-all, a great year thus far .

RV2 suffered a broken tail bone in 4 places. Says he is going to attempt to ride this weekend. That's gonna hurt like hell. With 4 races in the books RV2 has a lot of points to make up. I'll bet he races the series again next year.

Who is RV2? Ryan Villopoto? We have been discussing 1000cc preimere-class (on-road) GP racing in this thread.

By the way, Yamaha looked great at Texas, a little more work and they have a rocket ship. I have ridden mostly Kawasaki (dirt) and Suzuki (street) my whole life, hard to follow all these different race series though.

Way things are going looks like it's Vales' championship to lose . Marquez with a broken finger , Pedrosa still out with surgery on arm , Lorenzo lost in the Spanish hills
Ducati is fast but the more podiums the tighter the restrictions get . I think this is 1st of 2 yr contract with Yamaha for Valentino But if he won the championship I would think he would seriously consider retiring at the top of his game , If he stayed and pulled off a back to back championship.............
