Questions?? Gasoline/Petrol Generator Fuel Line Question

The fuel lines in my generator are starting to crack etc and so need replacing.

During a previous attempt to install some real car fuel line I managed to break the fuel filter off the bottom of the tank (the mesh bit that sticks up into the tank).
My question is, are fuel lines and filters from nitro cars suitable to use in a petrol generator?

The original fuel lines are made from pretty flexible thin walled tubing that is a t least very similar.

Thanks

You might get away with using the filters but silicone tubing is NOT compatible with gasoliyne. It will swell to about five times its normal size when used with gasoline. You need to use Tygon tubing for gasoline. Slightly yellow colored tubing that resembles nylon tubing. Hope this helps.

Somone else made the suggestion of kart parts so I've ordered the parts from a kart supplier.

Thanks
