I've got a '87 RX-7 track car only, does 476 hp at the wheels ... '93 RX-7 street car that does 372 hp at the wheels ... and my daily driver is a '98 BMW M3 Covertible that only did 218 at the wheels

The 87 weighs in at about 2550 pounds wet, so with some softer springs at MT's I could run a low 10. But it's built for road course racing. The 93 will be hitting the strip when it opens this Spring, but a 11 second run shouldn't be a problem. The BMW is for getting the girlies all wet

Quite true ... what year is yours? I used to love riding around in my Aunt's '78, it was some Special Edition. And my Uncle (her husband) had a cherry '63 Split Window.

I thought I was one of a dying breed, being a Grandnational fan.

I've had 2 87 WE-4's 1 was a high 10sec car, the other was stock.

1 87 turbo t that ran 11.70, with a stock intercooler.

1 85 limited non intercooled that ran 12.85

Your car is SWEET. Where do you run at. Have you ever been to the GN vs Mustang shootout at Englishtown?

Later, Brad

I though grand nationals looked good in my rear view! Cool cars that were fun to watch spanking a 5.0!

I owned a 95 gsx that posted a best of 9.89 in the quarter. But have since upgraded to my CBR! Loving every minute of it

I also had a 91 Talon tsi. Yes 5.0's are fun to spank with anything.
I had a decal on the back window of my WE-4 that said.
SUCK FUMES FORD BOY.
