Default R.C. Companies

If you owned a big R.C. company. Would you sue your top driver, after you FIRED him? One company would, and is. What kind of moron would do such a thing?

He's one of the top drivers in racing, with many national titles. And, the company is one of the largest in the R.C. industry.

Yeah thanks for narrowing it down. Would it be Team Associated, Team Losi, HPI, or Tamiya? Is he a sedan driver or offroad?

I love it when people post about a subject that is oppinion based and they dont put up all the details .. after all everyone likes to debate the facts ... makes for some good view points ..

Exclamation Sue?

Depends on the reason. Was he selling or even giving away desighns to a competitor. this would be the best reason I could see it happening. If so, then yes I'd lynch his but. If he didn't race enough as per signed contract and still took his pay, ya technically he was basically stealing(as per legal view) and depending on the severity, I could see a major company sueing(SP?). Ya but once again who and why, if they had filled the suit, its now public record, so lets get it out. If its fraudelnt we will all sympathize w/ the driver and love to make the company look like a bunch of jacka$$.

If it's the situation I think you're talking about, the driver wasn't fired, he left for another team even though he was still under contract. I believe the suit alleges breach of contract. But this is all hearsay...

RC Driver Gary: You got the company right.
The driver I'm talking about was sent a registered letter releasing him of his contract, before he went to another company. Fact, not hear say.
