You mean these:

Pretty funny I thought, though rather inappropriate.

In my openion the US needs to get out of the prud dark ages and get with the program. I found the adds to be funny and I learned about the duel zone AC at tthe same time.

Teachers banging students is the new cool, get with the times people.

Or should I say:

Teechaz bangin da studints iz in yo get wit it

No need to worry about the repercussions, sex sells, even when it involves children. The fact that it involves children is disgusting. The fact that some see the contention as prudish is disturbing. They could have easily used adults in the same situations.

Did you read the article that went with it, it shows to different situations. One is the kid version (with the children) the other is the adult version. In the adult version neither is a child. I think it was a clever idea. The idea of advertisement is to catch your attention, if it stirs up conversations or debates that's even better, it gets more people looking at the add.

I do not agree in using children in sexual situations in advertisement, had the teacher been hitting on the little girl that would have crossed more lines then I could count, so don't take my opinions the wrong way.

Is this the ad, or are they two separate ads not even running together?

I see one ad showing to different situations. "A Different Temperature on Each Side"

Ok, so going off the idea that this is one ad where both sides are seen simultaneously, I don't like the idea that a child is involved, cartoon or not.

It could easily be done without showing a child and have the same point come across. If that's seen as prudish, my counter to that is concern.

Being that the story is tied in to both "sides" of the ad, they're obviously related. To me, that's the issue.

The great thing about this country is that we are allowed to have different opinions. We could go back and forth all day about it and we will never agree I see your side but do not fully agree. I think in general the US population needs to loosen up a bit, I see it happening as the younger generation starts to have more of a say so. With that I am ending my side of the debate.

That's the ad. One side is the "cool" version, the other the "hot" ran together on opposite sides of the page. There is also another version with a sort of princess theme.

I can totally agree to disagree, and even have a beer afterwards. Too bad we're on the intertoobz! I'll have one in spirit. Pun "semi" intended.

IMO, if your old enough to see the point of the add and "get it" you're old enough to deal with it...I don't have any real issue with it. 2 of my kids are old enough not to "get it" but if they were to ask me about it I would be open with them and explain it. I prefer to educate and prepare my kids for the world we live in. Sheltering kids from the real world does them no good IMO. An 8 year old isn't going to pay any attention to the add, a 12 year old might, that's your opportunity as a parent to educate them before their foolish peers do....all IMO
