I work night fill in a shopping centre for spare change, it is a very large chain and they always report anything like this to the police.

It may only be a $10 pizza, but it is still illegal.

Oh jesus, you've never done anything wrong, huh?

I would like to think that jesus(that's also pronounced hey-soos, btw(jesus was NOT white)) would prank, point and laugh, then eat pizza. In this situation, at least.

Yes I have had speeding and parking fines, and it is ok to play the prank, even to be offered the Pizza is ok, but to ask if you can take it, that is when it goes beyond a joke and becomes theft.

Hmm, maybe he didn't think of that at first. Then, bein opportunistic, thinks of askin for the pizza? Maybe he was so overtaken by his genious in concocting such an epic prank, he had no conception of keeping it. It's feasible.

I never said it was ok to do this, I said I was caught doing it (about 15 years ago)
I now do all my speeding on the race track and on the 1/4 mile.

My point was that it is all funny and no one gets hurt, but when you gain from it, it becomes illegal, and an employer can do more than just fire you over it.

Hell I dont care what he does, (I am guessing he is just a young fella) I am just trying to open his eyes to what "could" happen, I would hate to see him start thinking this is a great way to score free Pizza's and continue to do it, only to get caught out.

In reality I wasn't really trying to score free Pizza's. I just wanted to see if my assistant managers would actually let this go through (Didn't even think it was possible with all the info on the screen )

And that is fair enough, but at the end of teh day you did score a free pizza, I just wanted to try and make you see what could happen if you get caught.

It is human nature to repeat actions that are favourable (you got away with a free pizza once - whats to say you cant do it again), I am only wanting to make you aware of what "might" happen.

Your young and impressionable, I was that way along time ago (back in the day when I was young - this was before mobile phones and TV's ran on steam)
