Who are you kidding??

I had to update the PS3 for it and then I decided to UNLOAD ALL THE CARS onto my harddrive so that the game can spool up faster. That in itself took 30 minutes. Of course... I still gotta unlock them....

I just picked up my signature edition, now I'm just waiting for the damn game to finished updating.

Games that have been in development for 5 years should not need updates on release day.

What I think it did was to set the PS3 up so that it dosen't take forever to upload...

But wait... there's more....

You can't import your licenses!!! You have to earn them all over again....

But that's not all....

Although you obtain your license, you can't jut buy cars anymore... you have to reach a certain driving level to get that car you want....

Yes... I think its gotten harder.

Well at least you switch up to Go-Karts and build your own tracks....

I played a little bit tonight at my friend's place. I just have a 360.

First impression, it's fun and looks good, but I think I like the physics in Forza 3 better. The inertia and weight transfer in forza feels more realistic to me, at least for the slower cars like the MR-S I was driving tonight. Maybe it gets better with some of the other cars. I'll be back there on Friday to give it a more thorough play.

It might still make me get a ps3 finally, but from first play I wasn't as wowed as I thought I would be.

Wasn't GT5 suppose to have damage? I'm yet to see any and I thought it was a selling point for it. Its been fun, but I expected less screw ups. I was able to enter an Audi R10 Le Mans car into a race for "Hot hatchbacks"
Also despite starting the game with 10 cars, I had to go buy a car just so I could do the licensing or do any form of driving. The V8's like previous versions of Gran Turismo still don't like V8's.
After 5 years of development I expect better then that. Half Life 2 was made in 5/6years and it has less major flaws.

It does have damage... I was in a room last night with a pair of battling GTI's. One of the guy was telling the other how screwed up his front end was after hitting something. I guess you have to select whether you want damage on or not. I haven't really got in-depth with it yet...I want my licenses first.

I think that is where guys are expecting to have all the goods available to them right away.... its like they jumping right into multiplayer without grasping the basics first... can't play this COD-style. Earn your licenses, level up, then jump in a room.

Gran Turismo 3 did have a Ford Falcon V8 Supercar, in Red, White, and Blue trim..... I painted a Ford Mondeo off that scheme years ago.
