I wouldn't even do the deal in that case.

It could be for a number of reasons. I just set up another account and I currently don't have a spare bank account to link it too so I'm unverified. But I'm not a scammer.

Follow your gut but be careful.

I've been unverified since I made my account. I don't do many deals, mostly just ebay purchases, so it wasn't worth the hassle of verifying it.

I never wanted to add my bank account to my PP acct., but I was forced to in order to complete a purchase a little while ago. There was nothing wrong with my credit card, but paypal said I had to add my bank in order to complete that particular purchase from a place I had paid by credit card via paypal before.

So now I'm verified, but if I could have avoided it, I would have. It really pissed me off that they made me do that. Took several days before I could get my order sent just because paypal decided to not let me use my credit card this time right at confirm payment part of my order. I had to call the store I was ordering from and explain what happened. It was embarrassing. For that I [email protected]!$ing hate paypal.

You could always open another account and put however much money you need into it from your main account.

I've done quite a few deals and my paypal is not verified. I was tired of using my mom's business paypal. I just have a credit card tied to mine and not a bank account. I think it's stupid that it's "unverified" if you don't have it tied to a bank account. I want paypal as far away from my money as I can keep them. Greedy punks
