+1 to the potential issues with customs. I shipped many items to our Northern friends when I was selling a lot of stuff on Ebay, and 1 out of 10 items got where it was going on time, with no issues. Edmonton seemed to take the longest to get stuff. The others, well, mucho problemos. Buyers always wanted it now, but not willing to pay the fees. After a couple negative feedback from impatient buyers that left negative feedback, then got their items as promised, I was sick of dealing with shipping issues.
I ship only to folks in the states because I know it will get there on time 98% of the time, and no border/paperwork issues.

Also, I am an American, and I am not lazy..........

my deal is I live 45min. from the post office and when I need to ship out side the U.S. I have to go to the P.O. I can print postage from home when I ship to the U.S. so I guess part lazy, the gas $ and time it takes...I've shipped to Canada before with no issues.

Edited just for you Oasis. I don't mean to offend anyone and you should really look into not taking things so personal.

My goodness people, I"M SORRY for insinuating any Americans may be lazy.
If the shoe fits, wear it. If not why take offense? I will refrain from any other "jokes" that may have even a chance of being taken out of context by someone.

Moving on......

LOL! If it isn't related to hockey, I guess there isn't any urgency to get it done in Kanuck-ville.

Thanks for the spell check.

Thanks for all the insight guys. I guess there will always be impatient people expecting to get everything ASAP when they know there are potential for delays.
I always expect things to take a long time to get to me but I've been buying from guys in the U.S for a while now. I don't even care about tracking #'s anyway, I just want the cool R/C stuff you guys have, lol.

I thought it was funny that the hostility in the thread was between fellow countrymen, and not between people from different countries.

Gotta go, late night hockey game tonight

I will ship anywhere in the world as long as the buyer understands that #1-insurance is a must for out of country shipping and #2-the buyer will pay for the extra shipping and insurance cost. Most of the times the buyer will whine about the price being so high for shipping with all the included cost.

For me, its just a matter of shipping it fast and safe to make my buyers happy. Like I want to get the package to my fellow R/C Tech members in 3 days or less so I don't have to think about it too much. The same way if I buy something here, I want to get it sooner not later. In other words, "instant gratification".
Just my 2 cents........

Bottom line is it's easy to not and some Americans are lazy!
Many people outside the USA don't like the cost of shipping and don't realize it's A LOT more for med-big boxes while small padded mailers are generally the same exact cost.
wow you just called Americans lazy? If I was not sitting down and watching television eating cheeto's ,I would get up and fight you. (moderator, please be advised that I am kidding.) lol/ha ha/ joke.

I don't hesitate to ship to the USA, no big deal, couple days longer, owner responsible for entry fees if any, same as if I'm getting from the states. As far as Canada being "real", I guess all our resources we sell you aren't "real either".
