i went inside to fix my kids lunch and just happen to hear a pop. looked outside to see smoke rolling out of my garage. worst part is i bought the battery used off of here and this was the second time i used it.

nothing rc wise was damaged just a dewalt drill you can see it in the background. yeah when i got to the garage the wall was on fire and thats where all my cars and trucks hang.you can see the fire extinguisher that was behind the flames.lol good thing i keep more than one.

Im in the process of buying some .30 cal ammo cases for this very reason. Lipos scare the hell out of me living in an apartment complex.

Glad everyone and everything, sans drill, is ok. Just recently I've been taking precautionary measures with my lipo packs. I would charge them inside without a sack or anything. Not even be close by sometimes. Not anymore, definitely not now.

I know I've seen a Lipo flame out, and scare some of our new racers from ever racing again.
