Default r/c demolition derbies? any interested people?

hi, my name is kevin, im wondering if there would be enough interest in r/c demolition derbies to get one going in the twin cities. let me know, we would need a minimum of 10 people to make it happen.

1/10 and 1/12 scale electric cars for now. no gas, as we may run it indoors.

You would be fine with a plastic chassis like a tamiya. Bodies would not last though and you would need to keep speeds very low. It would be more fun to have a race where hacking is not just allowed, but encouraged!

The stock A finals at the recent SA state titles looked very much like that too.

Was just thinking that. Most big event are more or less like that these days. Can't remember the last time someone got a drive through for bashing their way past the car in front of them.

We did a figure eight race with our slash trucks. The near misses and head on collisions where epic. My truck flew ten feet across the track. But it's something I would only do once in a great while.

Figure 8 with a jump across one direction would make it interesting....

I'd do it if I could. My TA05 could handle it onroad, my E-firestorm offroad

Maybe not with the bl/lipo combo though.

Heard you're not racing any more? Something about playing with your organ, flute, or something....
