Yes taking an extended break from the hobby to focus on my "music" for a while. I figured if I gave you a few more years of practice then we might be more evenly matched when I return.

1/10 and 1/12 scale electric cars for now. no gas, as we may run it indoors.
Six Flags, anyone that I'm aware of, has small R/C Stock car tracks, were most races turn into a demolition derby anyway.

Being a demo derby fan myself, I'd like to see R/C's have a more recognized attempt at it, but the amount of parts that most would go through is probably the biggest deterant.

We had a SC balloon race at Bumps and Jumps. You had to tie a balloon to your truck and make laps, if your balloon popped your job was to pop everyone eles balloon. You had to marshal your self too, one of the best times I had bashing rc trucks my son was the last to finish with his ballon. They had a video on the live feed link at bumps web site.

At my local track it is fround apond to bump into each other, even in short course beg. or open. Average person their has a min. five years in the hobby.
But for demoolition I would use foam in a can on or inside the body. Use a plastic grocery bag over the chassis so the foam would not stick to chassis but the body. Then put body on and fill the space between the chassis and body with foam. Let it expand and dry. Then take body back off and make an air duct for motor fan and possibly fan for battery. The boddy will then take the abuse. If I had the money I would try it.
