If NA$CAR can be considered a sport, than why can't r/c car racing? Racing is a sport.

You can't be serious..trying to say that racing for 400+ miles In A REAL car is somehow the same as racing an RC car..yeah..30 minutes on a drivers stand..real tough..

Believe it or not, Nascar does require physical activity. RC racing, requires vary little to no physical activity. It doesn't matter if it is a sport or not. It's more in the lines of how we defined a sport.

Bunch of Golf haters in here...probably the best sport. Takes the most skill by far, and if anyone wants to disagree they obviously haven't tried it before.

And atleast we are standing for 30 minutes...with Nascar they are sitting down and driving in a circle. I bet you burn more calories driving and RC car than you do with a Nascar.

I doubt that, have you ever tried muscling a car without powersteering around a track for 200 laps, the whole time the car wanting to head towards the wall.

Your statements are proving that you haven't driven any type of "real" race car and don't care much for NASCAR..and you think that the golf you play is a sport..classic hater..

I agree. Hockey does require skill but you have to take the hits and keep on skating or be able to catch a puck thats blasted directly at you traveling 100 mph.The thing with golf is you only get one shot at a time, if it doesnt go where you want it to, you cry on the inside.

And the thing with Nascar is you get that one life and if you hit a wall at 200+ mph you die dont seem hard to go 200 in a circle but to some people 100 mph is fast try going twice as fast around 40+ more cars trying to make it to the finish just like you, but in the mix theres a couple racers greety for that 100,000 plus dollars to finish.

How many shots do you think you get at stoping a breakaway..one..blow it and they score, can't make it up on the next one either..it's still a score
