This is insane!

Delta CK 790 on ebay

Is it worth THAT MUCH?

I wonder how much my RC300 can go for on ebay.

I've always felt that something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it!

With that said, there are some 'mega collectors' in Europe and the far East that are assembling massive collections of the original vehicles in our hobby/sport. Delta and Yokomo seem to be popular with collectors - probably due to their somewhat limited numbers and interesting evolution.

It's nice to see the pricing coming back around on some of this stuff; like pretty much everything else it has market swings.

A friend of mine recently got over a grand for his old Delta car. I think it was a P2J.

Anything Delta has dollar signs attached to it, 1/8-1/12-1/10.

Early 1/8 on road seems to be getting hot right now...

It's totally worth that much. It sold for that much. How much something is worth is pretty much subjective. To these bidders, this RC car was worth over one thousand dollars. To me, not even close.

If you look at the individual bids on it, the dates are all out of order maybe some weird ebay fluke? Then again, I just sold a model train locomotive for my elderly neighbor on ebay for $798...

Just shows how much passion there is with some people in the r/c world.

Maybe it was the first car they ever had, and sold theirs years ago, but want a replacement to remind them of it
