Default A legend is gone!

Its confirmed, Ronnie James Dio passed away yesterday morning. There was some confusion as he was hospitalized and in grave condition, lots of reports had him already deceased but he was very much alive Saturday night. But he actually did pass away Sunday morning after a long battle with stomach cancer. He was 67. For those that are not sure who he was, he was the lead singer for Rainbow, his band DIO, as well as the second singer for Black Sabbath with hits like "Man On the Silver Mountain" with Rainbow. "The Last In Line" and "Holy Diver" by DIO, and "Heaven and Hell" and "Time Machine" with Black Sabbath among many others. You will be missed Ronnie, rest well.

I heard this morning I didn't even know he was sick too bad one of the most under rated vocalists in metal history must have been hard living in Ozzy's shadow with Sabbath . My friend met him like 10 years ago and said he was one of the nicest rock stars he ever met .

One of the best frontmen ever, he was the one that gave metal it's sign-the maloik. Rest in piece Ronnie, You'll Never Be A Rainbow In The Dark!
