Funny thing is most of the sponsored driver's I've met don't adhere to #1 while only a few (Paul Lemieux immediately jumps to mind) do. When Billy Easton was driving for Losi he stopped a friend of mine mid-sentence to ask what truck he was driving, and when my friend told him it was an RC10T4 Easton just said "ok", turned around, and walked off.

met richard saxton and regan leblanc a few years back when they came to the track we used to operate. neither one were stuck up or dicks and the term goes. they didnt care what rig u had they were eager to help everybody when they could. i have to say regan was a killer dude and he used to live up here for a while. we all miss him and griz (his pup. god rest his soul). wish he would come up and visit.

Wow that's all I can say.

There's a few factory guys around here and none of them are #icks.
All of them are fun to be around. Quiet and patient and dont say much.

There's one guy here local that travels to Florida for his Mugen Sponsorship.
He mails his rides to the track and flies over to Florida for the Winternats.
I watch his onroad races whenever I get the chance.

And there's a guy here that Transfered his Kyosho sponsorship into a Associated sponsorship. I guess he just simply switched.

There's another guy here that's sponsored by CEN racing and Tekin.

And last one other guy I know switched from Kyosho to Odonell.
Odonell and Team Checkpoint are the same company.
Ive seen his Odonell car run and it looked good on the track.

These are the only ones locally I know that are sponsored.
I wont mention thier names because I think it's invading thier privacy.

you have to make a resume i have been racin for five years and i update my resume about every 3 months. you also have to be competitive not only in your area you have to travel because you may be fast there but when you travel its a whole new level. go to most nationals and regeonal races manufactures look at these races the most and finaly have fun. dont be stuck up at the track remember this is a hobby, not a job

U misread it, OTE was saying PL is a good guy....

Yes, there is a lot of pressure to sponsorship and it can make you or break you as a guy out there.

I've enjoyed my time with Tekin, but as much as I like r/c, this year for me, is about family.
