Worked on the set for Lost Boys ( now I'm dating myself) and the writing was on the wall back then. I might be old and grumpy but I'm old and grumpy.

You reminded me of that scene in "The Way of the Gun", where James Caan tells Benicio Deltoro, "One thing you know about an old man in this business... is he's a survivor"

True for some but not all cases. Many do their best work either before they get hooked or after they get clean.

Stevie Ray Vaughan was brilliant, got hooked, went into the toilet. Once he got clean, his talent returned only to lose him in a helicopter crash. Now that is tragic.

Last night some chick called in a request to a radio show. She wanted to hear something from the Goonies soundtrack in honor of Haim.... that wasn't Haim, that was Sean Astin... from Lord of the Rings. Feldmen was in it though.

I've heard a lot of people making that same mistake.

.........Death Sentence not Crank my bad...
but death sentence was a good movie...

I read his wiki page so that's a relief he's still alive at 57 years old.

Corey didnt die of drugs either:
His wiki page states:
At the end of his life, Haim lived in an apartment with his mother, who has breast cancer.[24] On March 10, 2010, Corey Haim was taken from their home to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, and pronounced dead at 2:15 a.m. (10:15 UTC). Los Angeles police said that his death appeared to be accidental and may have been due to an overdose, but that no illicit drugs were found at the scene. He had been ill with flu-like symptoms for two days before his death and his publicist discounted the possibility of an overdose, citing his recent clean living. Prior to the official autopsy reports being made available publicly, Haim's mother stated that the coroner's preliminary finding was that he died of pulmonary congestion and was suffering from an enlarged heart and water in the lungs.[25]

The 2 Cory's have already been mentioned.
Corey Haim and Cory Feldman.
Feldman I never really cared for that much.
Although everybody knew he was a drug addict.
Haim I would never think to be a druggy.
