thanks for the replies, I gotta do something soon ,man I hate hearing a song I love and not being able to reach the perfect level you know... right before it hurts. LOL I have to wait a little while because I cut Grass for a living and need my truck every day right now. Very soon the season will come to a screaching halt and I will be able to let a shop do the work ...maybe 3 days??? If you can post some pics that would be great. I used to really be in the stereo scene back in the mid to late 80's. Old Skool punch 45 fan ..still got them too.but the new stuff is killer too.

as far as voltage the higher the voltage the more potential for flow you have through a certain size conductor per say

just because voltage is higher doesnt mean the electrons flow faster

amps x volts = watts and so on so forth breaking the equation and manipulating values

12 volts at 1 amp draw is 12 watts etc etc...
