The FIA requires the chassis name be in the team's name. The new team has yet to build their own chassis and submit it for approval so they are required to retain Force India (the name of the chassis) in the team name. In the off season, they will of course build new chassis' and can name them whatever they want.

Looks like indycar is going to COTA but they are talking about making some track layout changes. So this begs the question.. What would your adjustments be for Indycar, and what if any would you make for F1?

For indycar i would soften turn 8 quite a bit and take out the short loop (13-14-15) after the long back straight, changing it into something like yas marina 11-13 to help keep that braking zone pass at turn 12.

for f1, probably just soften up turn 8. it just kills the lap for me. It may be completely awesome for other categories..
Let's hear your thoughts.

not a bad idea to soften up #8 and connect #12 with #15. Make for a fast lap. Reduce passing opportunities though. Or maybe straighten #7 a bit to make the run to #8 and #9 quicker.

Not sure how keeping the corner 90 degrees decreases the passing opportunity.

wouldn't be close to 90* the way I see it. A gentle arc from current turn 12 to current turn 15. Even if you draw a straight line between the two it wouldn't be 90*

When I first saw news that Kimi wasn’t going to be driving for Ferrari this morning, I assumed he was retiring. I was wrong

Ferrari announced that Raikkonen would ‘step down from his current role’ for 2019, with Sauber going on to confirm that the Finn would return to the Swiss team on a two-year deal. The move effectively marks a swap between Raikkonen and current Sauber driver Charles Leclerc, with the 20-year-old Monegasque now set to become one of the youngest drivers in the Scuderia’s history.

Yes, I was bit surprised by that as well. Would love to have Kimi help raise Sauber to a new level. His Instagram post was cool- "going back to where it all began".
I bet Sauber is also receiving some money for the swap as well. or maybe a discount on the Ferrari/Alfa engines.
