Actually it was a kit, but it cost $1500, and took about 6 weeks to make enough hydrogen via the PV cells on top to power the car, or you could just use mains power and think that you might as well have charged some batteries...

Did they ever driven the car? The cartridges look like CO2 ones you use in co2 guns.
