a few months ago he was at OCRC EVERY week running electric 8 scale, then he came here to Bakersfield and ran for the JBRL....and he went farther up north for this big off road race, The Golden State Championships, and blew up EVERYTHING in his electric 8....

I just talked to him not to long ago via email, and he said he hasnt really been doing much racing since the blow up of his 8

Hi there everyone,

Thank you for the kind comments...

I am working for Novak Electronics as Customer Support.

As far as racing goes, I have been doing alot of club racing mainly 1/8th electric off road... I am using the Hot Bodies Ve8.. Myself and the designer, Josh Alton have been testing alot. I really love the car and I am sure when it hits the store shelves the responses will be great.

For the on road side of things I started racing again on the clublevel, I am using a TC5 as of right now but I am currently building a HB Cyclone also...We have had a small set back at our local track but I am sure it will all get resolved.

I am glad that I am still in peoples minds to ask about me and see whats going on. I love this industry, I have devoted over 22 years into it and I hope I can be involved for many many more. I also hope to get back to the racing scene. We will just have to see what happens.

As far as the Doc. that was made, I am just wondering how the editors wanted to make me look.. As everyone knows, you have no control when there are editors involved. Reality T.V. is all I have to say!...LOL

Hopefullly I will see you all at the track again and as of right now I will try to check in as much as I can so if you have anymore questions please let me know.

Thanks again,

Barry

All I saw was just a short clip of you in the trailer. It did not seem negative at all. Hopefully the full doc will maintain the same positive light. I cant imagine the guys from Steel City wanting to reflect negatively on the sport. Its my understanding that the whole purpose of the doc was to improve public perceptions.

See you at the birds?

Good to here from you. Just wondering if you are still around. I drive a D8 and TC5 also. I have had the Cyclone before and it was a great car, debating switching back.

I think "most" of the touring cars on the market are capable of winning...Some take more work then others to get them up to speed.
