Default Online ordering Vs LHS

Im sure to catch hell but is it sometimes cheaper to order Rc parts online like from A-Main Hobbies or just your LHS. I support my LHS as often as I can sometime to the wife's displeasure but like most of us were looking for ways to spend less $$$ not a easy combination to say Rc/and cheap were have you found the best deals?

...And if you become a regular customer, I know most LHS' will knock a little more off the price for you, as a thanks for doing repeat business

Another thing to cosider is the fact that the LHS for the most part own and operate the tracks. If we don't support them as much as possible, then the LHS will go away and so will the tracks.

My LHS will order stuff and I don't have to pay for it until I'm ready for it, but will continue to hold it for me.

But online you can't beat some prices and definently selection, some stuff my LHS just can't/won't order. I go both ways...

Seriously... I only buy online. But not because I don't like supporting my LHS. I live out in the boondocks, and the ONE LHS that is one hour away doesn't carry ANYthing but traxxas offroad parts, and parts for planes... So I couldnt' do business there even if I wated to.

I myself do almost 100% of my business with the LHS...

For me the LHS is cheaper for one.

And if I want something unusual or hard to find, the owner will do his best to find it for me and aquire it.

I also have the benefit of being at a race and breaking something and the owner will almost always rush what I need out to me at the track so I can get running again.

Theres also the fact that if I need something right now and don't have the cash on me to pay for it... He'll bill me for it later. Which is a big plus.

Lets see A-main Hobbies do any of that for me?
