Default Bear Grylls as a James Bond?

This just poped in my head as I was listening to some Bond music. He kinda remindes me of a Timothy Dalton. I was listening to music from The Living Daylights bond movie.

I just can't see James Bond squeezing a pile of elephant dung for drink. Stick with the martini's.

Naw, make HIM Bond and he wouldn't need Q. He already knows how to make a weapon out of nothing and survive in the artic with just the rememnents of a broken snowmobile.

Now he WOULD be great for a remake of MacGyver.

FRAUD! I HATE BEAR GRYLLS!

He makes a snow shelter, then goes and stays in a 5* hotel for the night.

Now what you want is Ray Mears, HE'S real.

Yeah, but he drinks his own piss, frolics in fecal matter, has consumed goat testicles, ripped the spine out of a trout with his teeth, etc. For the amount of BS that he goes through to keep the show entertaining, he deserves a hotel room to sleep in.

If he is as "good" as Timothy Dalton, they won't ever make another Bond film after that!

Timthy Dalton was the worst Bond ever (although I havent seen On Her Majesty's Secret Service in years, so George Lazenby may be tied with him) Roger Moore was ok but the movies seemed a little more comedic. Pierce Brosnan I thought made a great Bond in his own way. Currently, Daniel Craig is doing an excellent job of portrying Bond, but the best I think will always be Sean Connery.
