whats you favorite sounding car?
mazda 787B. was a car from LaMans racing untill they outlawed it for having too much power out of so light of an engine. thing screaaaams. the motor is a 4 rotor unlike the rx7s 2 rotor. enjoy =]

nice. The 787B was my weapon of choice in Gran Turismo 4 as well, great car. Even if it does sound like somebody tapping on a whoopie cushion at idle. 
I don't have footage of it to post, but the Industrial Dynamics/Filtec Racing #29 Trophy Truck from the DVD Revolutions Per Minute has a BEAUTIFUL V8 note and a great scene just before the end credits of an onboard shot paralleling the road at Plaster City.
Close second would be Ray Butcher's Class 1400 Ford Ranger, as seen in DirtAlliance's Change. That, I DO have video of...

I love the sound of an IRL indy car screaming down a straight. It's gotta be seen and heard in person to appreciate. Although there is something to be said for 43 (they'll always be Winston to me) Cup cars roaring past at the same time.
