hi guys,
my name is alex im 18 and from pa. ive been racing r/c for 7 years and into real cars since i can remember. i was born with spina bifida which caused me to have weak leg muscles and no feeling or muscles below my knee i also have a dislocated hip. im finally old enough to drive but do to my disease i dont have the recation time or the stregth to drive a regular car. i work in a hobby shop part time and do what i can for work. the hand controls them selves are expensive but since insurance doesnt cover it i have no idea what im going to do. i hate asking people for help ive always been too proud and always wanted to be normal but this is a situation where ive had to swollow my pride and ask. theres a so many members on here if even half donated 2$ id be well past what id need. i do have feedback im not a scammer i can grab pics of my wheelchair and leg braces and whatnot. if you dont have anything nice to say please dont
sorry on the spelling my keyboard sucks

thanks,
alex

Lets see the pics, the price of hand controls, and an official certificate with your diagnosis record.

why are you still looking at this? he was proven to be a scammer and was using the $$ to buy RC stuff, even if he is disabled.

NPR, Democracy Now, opencongress.org, or the New York Times are very much better places to donate money.

Interesting........

For a person with Spinal Bifida, the State Disabiliity office where you are located should provide you that system for you car at a discounted rate. Also Medicare or your HMO (oxymoron) should aslo cover more than half the cost to get that system. Apparently, they don't cost that much either (610.00 w/ 35.00 S&H); is this what you are looking for?

If you don't have the reaction time under normal conditions, you have all the hand controls you want and you still shouldn't be driving.

I thought this a little hard to believe when I first read it, though it could have been possible, but thought the "reaction time" problem to be a red flag.

Thanks for calling this out as the scam it appears to be.

Damn crying shame people want to take advantage of other people's interest in helping out the less fortunate in a predatory way.

If this guy is a scam he needs to be booted!!
