I hate listening to music anywhere else besides a car or in front of the computer. I walk about a mile to and from school, and don't listen to music. Mostly because it is a safety hazard. I have seen alot of kids almost ran over by cars because they are listen to music, can't hear for cars, and too stupid to look. If you look, I guess it is OK, but if I were to listen to music, I would zone out, and not look, so music take away 2 senses for me.(Holy commas batman)

Anybody that knows anything knows not to jump to the head of the line so they can be the first on the block to have the latest cellphone, computer, videogaming system, or ipod whatever ... except seemingly those that want to whine and complain.

Had it not be for the original gang at Microsoft none of us would have the PCs we're typing on, or likely the need for the Internet, as IBM whould have kept control ot the computer market and things (especially software) would be so overpriced we'd still be communicating via snailmail.

I wouldn't be sad, as we'd be running PA RISCs with unix on! talk about power!

Microsoft are a very good marketing company, but not much else. Their original operating system (DOS) was stolen from a company that made one called 'PC-DOS'. 95 was built on that, and then 98, and then ME. PC-DOS was 8bit, and there are STILL chunks of 8 bit code in 64 bit vista. And they marketed vista as new

I likes my open source...

i know my history, and i know that joe is right. microsoft just stole someone elses idea and made it their own.

and i would have nothing but Mac if the iPhone was under $600 unlocked and an iMac was under a grand.
