if he was really was going 200 and while he was losing control he locked up the brakes, then theres most likely giant bald spots on the tires.

if anyone else watched that SPEED challenge on the speed channel, the hennesey viper spun out at 180 there was major bald spots missing from all 4s.

Dont you think that the ENZO in the pic should be recalled? I dont see to many cars in two after a crash like that.

Did you read the article I posted about it? 162mph, it got a little air time to boot. I believe the driver's "cockpit" is engineered to seperate like that in the event of such an extreme application of carnage.

You don't think a car like that has ABS?

Tires are probably trashed, but hell, they are better than the tires on my car, hell, i'd take that bent-ass rim as well!!

Note that the glass is fine and there are ZERO obstruction in the "living area" of the vehicle.

This car was designed for the unexpected for sure.

it may have ABS, but pulsating brakes dont do squat* when you are switching directions rapidly.

i still dont know how you lose control like that on flat, 4 lane highway.

*:i know its a double negative.

That's like asking "why do some drag racers crash, its only a straight away"

Just because the car was ready for 200 mph doesn't mean the driver was!!!!!!!

A majority of things could have happened, there is a slight hill (which could look like a ski jump @ 200 mph) wind could have gusted, mechanical failure, distractions, etc.

Doing 163mph a little rut in the road and you over compensate and you tail is gone (a few hundred metres down the road )

And yes the safety shell is meant to split in an accident in a side on accident

The real driver was a man, living in Malibu. The accident took place at Pacific Coast Highway. He was racing against Porsche 997 Turbo, and lost control.

Here is the juicy part : The car is not his !! The real owner of the car actually is a Bank, Deutche Bank.

if you cant control a car then you shouldnt be driving. plain and simple.

i think you should need a special lisence to drive a car capable of 180+
