really? i have heard nothing but good things about this new chassis, the first R6 was crap, this is the remake of that, called the R6BH, last years chassis so it cant be that bad, everyone down here has arrows, all look the same. i wanted somethin different that not many ppl have dwn here. i havent driven it yet so i will see how it handles, but the fella that had it, raced it and was a front runner, SO

they arent too bad in TAG classes by what ive seen but for clubby u need an arrow, monaco or top kart...look at what chassis has been winning the aussie titles over the last few years.

ok cool, well once i can drive properly, that will be my second choice for motor.maybe then i might look at racing. like i said b4 this kart is for FUN, i dont care if i dont win against my mates or anyone else, but it sure looks the part about the only thing i want to change on it is the exhaust, i want one of those shiny lightning kart ones and i found this other site last night, its like ebay but not called ebay, sells some nice gokart bits, found some gold heel stops for 15bucks, i like gold was just wondering for the go kart guys on this thread, what will my kart be like at pt gawler with a 10/78, i havent really got the money this week to be changing sprockets over but if i have to i will buy ONE, i know the ball park gearing is 10/84, i mean i dont want it to be a slug but if this setup will be okay-ish then that will do me fine im just dyin to get out there
thanks in advance

the motor will probably be loaded right up man if 10/84 is the ballpark...depends on your weight etc etc. If you are only new to the sport u really need to be pretty close on gearing, u will just chug the motor otherwise and u might foul the thing and it will turn into a bad time.

I saw a brushless kart once. top speed of 90, and held the lap record at it's track. crazy. had a 14kw AC motor or something.

I saw one equipped with two GM starter motors and four 12 volt batteries. Ran pretty quick but nothing compared to a 2 stroke.

thanks barts, i found out that 10/84 was the ball park for a large person, weighing in at 120kgs, i weigh aroung 65, the local fella at the kart shop said 10/78 should be fine for my weight, so should be sweet, i have an alfano pro to keep an eye on temps and revs so should be sweet. any adelaide guys reading this that will be there? would love a yarn, also anyone that races interested in a new set of dunlop wet sl1s with rims or alfano pro, alfano comes with, head temp sensor, infra-red pick up sensor on floor, either cash or swap for parts etc.
anyways have fun
