Default Terminators are closer than ever...

This is the video of a military prototype that is just creepy as all get out

The creepiest moment is at about 1:24 in. The way it handles the ice is just…unsettling

You know, I remember this movie from the early 80's with this guy who ended up being a Governor in some small state or something...

And another movie with the guy who played Theodore S Logan, Esquire...

In both movies man marveled over their accomplishments in regards to AI...

Am I the only one who remembers how badly mankind was decimated in these films???

"The new version of the robot can now carry 340 pounds"
YES! I can ride it!

On a side note:
The government sends humans to war and they die...people complain about innocent lives being lost.

The government attempts to create robots to take the place of humans in war...people complain because they're afraid of Terminators.

come on

You'll never hear me complain about the loss of human life in war. As soon as there are no-more human casuallities it will become easier to make war as losses will be eliminated. We need to have losses in war... It's called a deterrant.

Did you guys see the other version, one that uses a sort of 4 wheeler rather than legs? I fly model airplanes, and the field we use is a military field. On a regular basis, they bring it out and test it on and around the runway. It looks like a stripped down golf cart with an M60 on top. It's got cameras and things, and just rolls around looking at stuff. A little while later some guys on a golf cart pull up and check it out, then it follows them away...

That thing walks like my cat when he goes out side on the patio when it is wet. On the side note, that is pretty cool. I hope to go into the Air Force when I am older to work in the field of robotics. Our military is always on the cutting edge, well at least trying.
