Default Super Bowl XLII

Okay fellow fans of the gridiron, it's time for the pronostication of this year's Super Bowl! From the AFC we have the 18-0 team on the brink of history the New England Patriots. And form the NFC we have the perpetual underdogs for this season the New York Football Giants.

Now since it's way too easy to just say the Pats are gonna win, we need either a pick with some points, or a final score. BTW the early line is Pats by 13 1/2

Now since I'm a Jet fan, I hate the G-D Patriots! but watching them play it just seems they can't do wrong. So I'm rooting for the Giants, but my prediction is:

Patriots 24
Giants 21

Boo! Pats are cheaters, they don't have any of my respect.

http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/arc...ating_scandal/

"Still, as Travis G. notes, these accusations have been floating around for a while and the fact they got caught red handed “makes you wonder how long they’ve been doing this.”"

To me that means they could have been doing it all season, maybe even last and they don't deserve the "respect" everybody hails upon them.

That being said, even though I would much rather see the Giants win, my prediction is

Pats 28
Giants 21

First, They may be called the New York Giants, but they play in NEW JERSEY.... Just like their little brother the Jests....

Second, the Giants shot their load the first time the Pats beat them.... While the Pats didn't play all their starters.....

Pats 45 Giants 10....

I was wondering when you were going to chime in

Where they play is irrelevant, they are the New York Giants and New York Jets. Besides how gay is it to be named after a territory.

I don't think New England is a territory.... It's a REGION....

But then again most new yawkers think the east coast starts at the NY-Conn line and the west coast starts at the Great Lakes....

New York- New Jersey.. Both LOSERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really wanted to see Favre beat the Pats in the Super Bowl. Oh well, I hope Peyton's little brother gets the job done. If I was a betting man, I'd have to go with the Pats covering the spread. It could very well end up being a worse beating than the Bears gave to the Pats in the 1986 Super Bowl if last season's Eli Manning shows up to the game instead of this season's new and improved Eli Manning.

I dont see the Giants being able to handle the Patriots in warm weather..I know that it's cold where the Patriots play but this year they seen to play way better in warm conditions than cold. To me when you have 2 weeks to prepare a game plan and get your Team prepared to play it all comes down to coaching..The Patriots have better coaching..Now on the "CHEATING"..Every team in the league tries to get the other teams plays..You still have to play the game..Look at the Rams when they had Eric Dickerson..Every Team they played knew that the Rams were going to run..Yet He still rushed for huge yards each and every game..Even if you have a good idea of what the other Team is doing you still have to stop them..Damm My Jets could have had the other teams playbook and we still would have lost....because you still have to play..Now if This Cheating was such a huge advantage..WHY DID THEY GO UNDEFATED THIS SEASON????..Sounds like crying over spilled milk..every team they played had a chance to beat them....Ok the Jets and Dolphins did not have a chance..

I think it'll be closer than that, or the Giants made it to the Bowl in some sort of miracle.

Think about it, the SuperBowl is between the most winningest team from each conference. Granted, someone could choke the big one, but SuperBowls are generally somewhat close games because the two teams should, theoretically speaking be about equal.
