I am also a big fan

grew up helping dad convert a 69 chevelle to a drag car.
went to the NHRA races in indy 2-3 times a year. watched them on tv weekly.


dont see to much of NHRA these days..i never know the schedule for the show times

I spend the summers working on my uncles Alchol Funny Car Team.

Alright to others out there. How many of you guys think nascar is a big setup now. Its all about the hollywood stuff

Hey Crew what is your uncles name and do you guys come out to Pamona,Vegas,Sonoma,Phionex i used to help my buddy with a Super Comp dragster 1 year ago he moved to Texas so I don't get to help him out anymore unless i go to Texas but i still go to all the drags thow i got alot of freinds still in Super Comp that i talk to and get tickets from plus i got a buddy thats on the Safty Safari

There are two things every motorsports fan must experience.

A Formula One car at full song on the long straight of your choice (Monza would probably be the best)

And standing right at the starting line when a Nitro dragster or Funny Car leaves the line. You don't hear the sound, you feel the sound practically push you aganist the wall! There's just no way TV can convey that.

i've never been at the line
but i've been at the fence(special seats i forgot what they were called, something box or something. Elimination box i think.) and the fence is about what. 30ft from the track? probably varies at different tracks. well i was about 10 at the time, on my dad's shoulders. and it was an amazing feeling when John Force made a pass.

I used to like NHRA until I got to know them and raced under them. I don't like them anymore...LOL...you guys think ROAR is screwed up...you ain't run with NHRA.
