Thats a good point but alot of time when they have problems it when the car hits the sand at a high rate of speed which makes them glyde over the sand all together or the nose digs in and the car goes end over end.

why dont they just have a line where when they cross it the tires lock up

That would not be a good thing to have then they would have more crashes at the top end from that they could lose control and hit the wall or even worse the other car

Anyone else attend this years Toyo Tires Nats at Maple Grove raceway?how bout all them red lights in P/S bike?What is happening with Mr Force anyway??!?!?!? 2 years in a row not makin the field at the U.S. Nationalslast thing i'm already tired of 1000' racing.All for these guys safety, but drag racing was founded on the quarter mile how many years ago?my opinion if there isnt enuff land available at certain race tracks then they shouldnt be hosting these events there anymore,anyone else feel that way?

I said that awhile ago they should make the track owners make the sand traps longer at the tracks that need them. 1000 ft. is ok but 1320 is better

im just glad to know the tony shumacher streak will come to an end!!!!!

What i herd is that nhra has all the intetion of going to 1320. My opinio is that they have to go back in time about 10-15 years and get down to those speeds. those speeds plus the new safty rules would be very very safe
