Default battery pack explosion

one cell went 10 feet and stuck to a coat hanging on the garage door. the garage was filled with pitch black soot that didn't wash off anything. if you want to charge packs at high current, don't use 50p AA cells.

yeah its cool.. i didn't have to clear it up but those batteries cost me 4...

2 year's ago i got a use battery pack ... and a roto start the same day ... so i wanted to make sure that it all work's .. didnt charge it ... just used it for maybe 1/2 a sec... took it out of the roto start .... and for like 3-5 min latter BOOOOOOOMMMMM all cell exsploded and went all over.. it was so loud .. it dose sound like a shoot gun... my poor dog was scared ... like me at first... i will never forget about that..

Ive had ni-cad cells hiss and the heatshrink split.... ive never run so fast to get them out the door I can only imagine how scary an explosion is!

i had this happen to me when it was in my car during a race put it this way my car has a hole in the chassis. be lucky it wasnt in your car

Did you get burned. Once a guy at our local track blew up a pack in his tray. It was like a shot guy went off.

thankfully i wasn't in the room when it happened, but if i did i would have been covered in nickel gauze and battery juice.
